Bugsy Malone is a musical film, made in 1976, based loosely on events in Chicago, Illinois during the Prohibition era. It is more particularly about the exploits of gangsters such as Al Capone, but the whole cast is made up of children. Because of featuring only children the film was also aimed at children and the subject matter was portrayed in a less violent and sexual way to make it suitable.
