Obviously Hulk Hogan costumes are going to be easier for boys but after the TV series following Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Gene Bollea)’s family, they are also quite well known. If you can’t find an actual Hulk Hogan moustache look for a blonde 70’s style one or a blonde western moustache, as loads of fancy dress stores stock all kinds of comedy moustaches that are perfect to look like Hulk Hogan. A bandana is easy to get but have a look for one with the hair already attached. Otherwise wear a wig underneath.
Another accessory to add for the distinctive Hulk Hogan look is a pair of shades, either wear them or put them on your head over the bandana. You could also get a fake tan as Hulk Hogan always looks really tanned, verging on orange!
If you can’t get a bright yellow t-shirt wear any black t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off and a motif on the front, such as rock band motif.
If you haven’t got very big muscles for a really good costume you could get a fancy dress muscle shirt, which is a padded shirt with a ripped torso and bulging arms that gives the impression of muscles! You could wear it under a t-shirt or without a top on. It would be perfect with some bright lycra pants for an actual wrestler look.
Whatever costume you choose to go for have a look around the internet for images of Hulk Hogan and you won’t have any problem finding lots, as he is very popular, in and out of ring. A Hulk Hogan costume will be fun, fairly easy to put together, relatively inexpensive and you’ll look great!
