If you’re looking for knight costumes there is more choice available than you might initially think, as knights do not just belong to the medieval era. There are many modern knights as well, such as a Star Wars Jedi Knights and the super hero Batman the Dark Knight.
If your fancy dress theme is Medieval then you are most certainly going to want a historical knight costume, but there are several types of knight costumes that you can buy. There are knight costumes ranging from budget to deluxe versions and if you make your own medieval knight costume you can always buy some accessories such as a sword, a helmet or a shield. If you want to be really creative you can design your own coat of arms to display on a shield.

If you prefer more of a modern day or a futuristic knight then a Jedi knight costume is the one for you. Any fans of Star Wars will know that there are several Jedi knights that you can choose from, including the evil Darth Vadar of course, as he started out as Anakin, a Jedi knight before he went to the dark side. You could go even go as Yoda, the Jedi master.
Other Jedi knight costumes you can get include Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and generic Jedi Knight costumes, none of them complete without a lightsaber though. You can even get women’s Jedi Knight costumes and kids costumes too. Some costumes come with a Jedi robe and some without so it’s entirely up to you which one you choose and which character you want to be.
The other modern day knight is the popular super hero, Batman The Dark Knight, and following the success of the movie of the same name there are lots of fabulous Dark Knight costumes available. You can get an officially licensed Warner Bros. Batman costume that includes a superb-looking muscle padded jumpsuit, a headpiece with a cape and a belt.
You can also get a fantastic Batman Begins movie ninja costume, which includes a black printed ninja shirt with attached gauntlets, trousers with attached boot tops and a ninja headpiece. Become the Bruce Wayne ninja just like in the film in this fabulous dark knight costume.
